On July 7th, 2011 in Mragowo awards were handed to participants of the 3rd installment of the Prof. Abraham J. Heschel Competition "Tolerance and Civil Society. The Role of Jews in the History and Culture of Warmia and Masuria". The Competition was organized by the Ecological and Cultural Education Society SEEiK, an NGO based in Mragowo. The Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland bestowed honorary patronage over the Competition.
