Between August 26th and 30th, 2011 the 4th event organized within the framework of the “March Losses” cycle took place in Slupsk. The event was co-organized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, the Slupsk Culture Center and the Slupsk Youth Culture Center. The “March Losses” project concerns one of the most important problems in the post-war history of Polish-Jewish relations: the events of 1968.

On August 26th a
t the former Pre-funeral House at 4 Rabina dr. Maxa Josepha St. (the building is the property of the Foundation) a meeting with Jurek Hirschberg took place. The meeting was accompanied by the opening of an exhibition prepared by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as the result of workshops entitled “March ’68. Farewells and returns”. The exhibition will be open until September 15th on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12.00pm until 6.00pm.

On August 27th
at the RONDO Theatre a meeting with Andrzej Bart was organized accompanied by a show of “Boulevard Voltaire” recording. After the show a discussion on Polish-Jewish relations took place. On August 29th and 30th movies made by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute were shown at the cinema of the Slupsk Youth Culture Center, Aleja 3-go Maja 22 St.
