We are happy to inform you that the perpetrator of stealing of a Mordechai Anielewicz memorial plaque from the Jewish cemetery in Wyszkow was apprehended, put to trial and sentenced to two years in prison thanks to the efficiency of law enforcement agencies. He will also repair all damage caused by his actions thanks to the direct involvement of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland in penal proceedings.

The plaque commemorating the leader of the Jewish ghetto uprising was stolen in March 2010. The Foundation reported this act of crime to the authorities.
