Society for the Protection of the Heritage of Jews of Dukla Region – Shtetl Dukla is currently working on a project of commemorating the local Jewish community by erecting a monument on the local Jewish cemetery. Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland is a partner of the project. The monument will unveiled later this year.

There are two Jewish cemeteries in Dukla – the old one, established in the 18th century, and the new one, dating back to the 19th century. Both were devastated by Nazi Germans during the World War II.
