Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland addressed the Mayor of Rawa Mazowiecka and the Regional Monument Conservator, regarding the protection of the matzevot found on the grounds of the Jewish cemetery in Rawa Mazowiecka. Foundation was notified about the discovery by a local website eRawa.pl.
New Jewish cemetery located on Zydomicka St. was established in 19th century. There are only remnants of matzevot left. The cemetery is 2.3 ha.
