On January 24th, 2013 a workshop ‘Judaism – main holidays and traditions’ took place at the ‘Synagogue’ Center of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland. Over 30 students from a Zamosc high school participated in the workshop.

The workshop has been prepared by volunteers within the framework of the project Creating a team of cultural animators for the ‘Synagogue’ Center which was supported by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland.

Workshops on following topics are organized in the‘Synagogue’ Center :
1. History of Jews in Zamosc
2. Judaism – main holidays and traditions
3. Role of a synagogue in Jewish community
