On May 8, 2013 a ceremony of lighting the candles and establishing a honorary guard took place at the Anielewicz Mound in Warsaw (crossing of Mila and Dubois Str.). Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland was a partner of the event, organized on the 70th anniversary of the last day of the Warsaw ghetto uprising.
