The Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland fully supports the stance taken by the Union of Jewish communities in Poland and the Rabbis: Chief Rabbi of Poland Michael Schudrich and Rabbi of the Warsaw’s Progressive Congregation Stas Wojciechowicz, regarding the deprivation of the Polish Jewish community of access to religious slaughter of animals. At the same time the Board of Directors and Friends of the Foundation wish to thank those Members of Parliament and public figures who resisted the pressure and actively supported the freedom of thought and religion in Poland. » back |
