Renovation works were recently completed at the mass grave of 1250 Jews murdered by the German Nazis in the Halbowa forest near Nowy Zmigrod.
Works were carried out by the Leon Karcinski Christian Community in Nowy Zmigrod and financed by the Podkarpackie Voivody, Council for Protection of Memory of Battle and Martyrdom, and the Community, in cooperation with the Town Office of Krempna. Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland was a partner of the action.» back
