The Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland is a partner of a publication ‘Photographer from Auschwitz’ by Anna Dobrowolska. It is a book about Wilhelm Brasse, who took over 50 thousand photos of the camp prisoners. The book is based on an interview with Brasse which has also been a base for an award-winning documentary ‘The portraitist’, produced in 2005. The book was launched in November 2005.
