On September 14, 2017, a ceremonial unveiling of a monument commemorating the local Jewish community took place in Kaluszyn. The ceremony was organized by our Foundation in cooperation with the Town Ofice of Kaluszyn. Participating were the Ambassador of Israel, Chief Rabbi of Poland Michael Schudrich, delegation of the US Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delegation of the Jewish Religious Community of Warsaw, citizens of Kaluszyn and the descendants of Kaluszyn Jews from USA and Israel. The monument, designed by Ken Goldman, came to life thanks to the initiative of Joseph B. Gellman of Israel.
