On October 12, 2022, a cleaning up of another part of the cemetery in Baligród was carried out, on the initiative of Joanna Potaczek, a volunteer who works to protect Jewish heritage in the Podkarpacie region. The cleaning work was carried out by inmates in the Prison in Uherce Minerlane and in the External Branch in Średnia Wieś. 15 prisoners, several officers of the Prison Service, representatives of the Baligród local authorities took part in the clean-up. The cleaning work was accompanied by an earlier lecture by Joanna Potaczek on the history and culture of Jews in Baligród, funeral customs, ornamentation on matzevot and the rules of the Jewish cemetery.
