On October 25, 2022, the Mayor of Głogówek, Mr. Piotr Bujak together with scouts of ZHR Głogówek, employees of the Municipal Office and the Chairman of the City Council, Mr. Jerzy Kunert cleaned up the local Jewish cemetery. Actions in this area were taken on the basis of an agreement between the local authorities and FODŻ, in which the local government undertook to take care of the memory of the former Jewish community of the Głogówek Community. The actions taken by President Piotr Bujak and the Chairman of the City Council Mr. Jerzy Kunert, together with scouts and employees of the Commune Office, deserve our highest recognition and heartfelt thanks, because they are a measurable testimony of care for the common history of Głogówek and the surrounding area.
