It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Dr. Hanna Stojanik, a dedicated member of the Board of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage.

Hanna Stojanik was also a member of the Board of the Jewish Religious Community in Bielsko-Biała, secretary of the Board of the Union of Jewish Religious Communities in the Republic of Poland, and vice-chair of the Bielsko-Biała branch of the Social and Cultural Association of Jews in Poland. As a pediatric surgeon, she saved the lives of many young patients.

We will remember Hanna Stojanik as a warm and deeply committed individual who devoted herself to preserving Jewish heritage and honoring the memory of former Jewish communities in Poland. May her memory be a blessing.
