On the 8th of March 2005, at 12 am, flowers were laid by a plaque commemorating events of March 1968. The flowers were brought by Dawid Peleg, the Ambassador of Israel in Poland, Golda Tencer, the President of the Shalom Foundation and by Piotr Kadlcik, the President of the Union of Jewish Religious Communities in Poland, together with representatives of the Foundation. The plaque was unveiled in 1998, due to the efforts of the Shalom Foundation.
