On 15th of June 2005 the ceremony of unveiling a memorial plague commemorating the Jewish community took place in Siemiatycze. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Foundation, the Town’s authorities and guests such as rabbi Zelig Avrasin (a deputy of the rabbi of Warsaw), Mr. Michał Sobelman (Embassy of Israel), Mr. Paweł Bramson (the Rabbinical Commission), Ms. Miriam Gonczarska (Jewish Religious Community in Warsaw) and many pupils and students from Siemiatycze schools.
