Beginning with May 2005 the Zamosc synagogue is opened for tourists. In the synagogue, which was previously used by the Town Library, a Museum of the Zamość Jews and the Zamosc region will soon be created. The building will also house several cultural events, such as the Spotkanie Kultur (the Meeting of Cultures) festival. The Zamosc synagogue is now protected by the Foundation and by the Zamość branch of the Polish Folkloric Society.
