linia 2008-10-27 RESEARCH ON THE ATTITUDES. DYNOW

On October 28, 2008 a meeting with the inhabitants dedicated to the Chassidic movement took place in Dynow (podkarpackie province). Dynow is frequently visited by the Chassidim from all around the world, who visit the graves of Tzadikkim buried in the town. During the meeting, led by Ph.D. Romana Kolarzowa, Professor of the University in Rzeszow, the inhabitants familiarized themselves with the history and specifics of Chassidism, for a better understanding of the Jews visiting Dynow. They also visited the ohel built over the graves of the Dynow religious leaders on the Jewish cemetery.
The action was realized within the frames of the 'Research on the Attitude Towards Jews and Their Heritage. Cooperation with Local Partners in Selected 15 Towns. Education for Tolerance' program, supported by the Batory Foundation.
