The year 2008 was declared 'Year of Intercultural Dialogue' by the European Comission. Acting within the frames of this program, Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, acting as a partner of the National Centre of Culture, joined the celebrations through the realization of an educational program 'Let's Talk - European Debates About Values".
Over 80 schools throughout Poland have joined the program, among them the Middle School No.5 and the Middle School No.9 of the School Complex No.3 in Olsztyn. On Monday, October 27, 2008, trainings for students participating in the program will take place in Olsztyn. During the workshops the students will learn about intercultural dialogue, and will be prepared to carry out public debates centered around the subject of values. On the next stage, the students trained by the Foundation will organize open public debates in their schools, engaging their fellow students and invited guests into the intercultural dialogue.
The event will be organized under patronage of TVP Olsztyn Television.
