On May 4, 2009, a memorial tablet commemorating the Jews of Krasnik was unveiled at the local synagogue. The tablet was financed by the Friends of Krasnik Society of France. On the same day the students of the local Middle School No.1 will met with the young Jews from England. The youths visited together Jewish places in Krasnik and carried out cleaning works at the local Jewish cemetery. Both events were organized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland. The action was implemented within the framework of the Chassidic Route project.
