The Foundation issued a letter to the Plenipotentiary of the Warsaw Police Commander for the Protection of Human Rights in connection with incidents reported last week in Góra Kalwaria (Ger). Unknown perpetrators painted a swastika and an anti-Semitic slogan on the wall of the ohel containing the remains of Tzaddik Alter and his grandson Judah Arie Leib at the local cemetery. They also blocked the entrance door to the ohel using construction foam. Stones were also reportedly thrown at a bus transporting visitors who had just been to the cemetery.
