On July 5, 2009, on the anniversary of the liquidation of Rzeszow ghetto a March in Memory of the Jewish Community of Rzeszow  took place in the town. The participants have left from the Staroniwa train station and walked the way to the Ghetto Square. Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland took the March under honorary patronage.
