The Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland started efforts aimed at revitalizing the 18th century synagogue in Przysucha (mazowieckie province). Currently the construction and conservation documentation is being drawn up.
The synagogue in Przysucha is one of the largest synagogues in Poland, with a monumental, brick bima in the main hall. In the town there is also a Jewish cemetery at which the famous tzaddik Yaakov Yitzchok, known as the "Holy Jew" from Przysucha, is buried.
