linia 2009-09-14 TO BRING MEMORY BACK. WARSAW

On September 13, 2009, the final showcase of the 4th edition of the ‘To Bring Memory Back’, realized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland took place in Warsaw’s Nozyk synagogue. Participating were 115 students and 43 teachers from 32 schools (of the total number of 164 participating in the 4th edition of the program). Among the guests were the representatives of the embassies of Israel, Democratic Republic of Kongo, Republic of Lithuania, Federal Republic of Germany, United States, and ministries, Jewish society, institutions of history, culture and art. The participants of the presentation took part in a city game as well as the Israeli dance and Hebrew language workshops. 

Since 2005 over 300 schools and culture centers, over 7 thousands students and 350 teachers from all over Poland participated in the ‘To Bring Memory Back’ program. Their activities can be found on the program’s website www.pamiec.fodz.pl
